It has come to our attention that a former member of the UPPCC has been spreading rumors about my health. From what I have heard, I am knocking on Death's door. Well, that comes as a total surprise to me!

I don't normally comment on rumors, but since more than a few of the loyal members of this club, have called to check on my welfare, I feel compelled to respond. I am in perfect health. That's it...end of story! The rantings of this former member are a feeble attempt to curry favor with the listener. Simply put, these rumors are nothing more than outright lies! Let us remember, this is a breed club devoted to the Presa Canario. Our goal is to promote the breed, something I have devoted considerable time and effort to over the past twenty-five years. There is nothing I can do to stop the lies and innuendo, no matter what the source. I can only suggest they be taken with a grain of salt or better yet, just ignored.
